“I find myself continually growing in compassion for others and a will to serve.”
-Briana Baker
“Trust me, once you start—no matter what role you play or how big or small it is—you will be hooked! It’s a good feeling to be part of the greater good. Being a part of someone else’s joy, hope, and happiness is an indescribable feeling. It’s just so good for your soul.”
Meet Briana Baker and her daughters Madison and Marleigh, who have been serving in JP’s Food Co-Op since August 2021. She has enjoyed bringing her two toddlers to help and showing them how the simple act of stocking supplies and filling grocery orders impact lives by serving. Brianna says, “Family mealtime is such an important time in our home. Providing the food necessary for families to gather around the table together is huge for me when thinking about our small part in the goodness of Joshua’s Place.” Serving at Joshua’s Place, she continually finds herself growing in compassion for others and the growing desire to serve. |
